208/It's A Wrap

Show Outline

Paul is upset when his producer, Lou (played by Larry Miller) not only insists on cutting a 3 minute montage from his film, he goes behind his back to do so. Paul learns about this while out on a double-date with Fran and Lou. He's determined to change it back, and enlists Ira to help him sneak into the film lab late at night. It's not so hard to do when you tip the guard $20 and sign yourself in as Mickey Mantle. All the while Jamie is becoming restless and a little jealous of Paul because he's doing what he loves and she's unsure of what she wants to do. She eventually decides what she's going to do, and Paul's supportive, as usual.

Commentary

A pretty good episode, but I'm really not to keen on the episodes with Larry Miller. Something about him kinda rubs me the wrong way. But it's funny watching Paul and Ira make their way past the guard. And I love the ending credit's tag with Paul instructing Lou to do the credits as they roll. Overall I like this episode, but it's not one of my favorites.
